This was awesome! Derrida is one of those guys I wish knew more about. I’m a sucker for any and all forms of language philosophy.

You mention it briefly, but I think it’s one of the most overlooked facts about writing: the fact that meaning exists in the between place is what makes poetry literally possible. Your examples about the sun shining illustrate this wonderfully.

This was so wonderful to read. Your mix of pop culture, high lit, and Derrida for dummies worked perfectly to convey the point you made about juxtaposition and its centrality in art and politics. I feel like Wittgenstein’s concept of language-games could deepen this discussion in a veeeery interesting way. Great work!
